Ottor, reputed to be a steam launch for the heir to Boots the Chemist. Built in about 1910, long since converted to diesel, The present owner keeps her on the Tamar, and has plans to convert her back to steam.
We re-designed the cabin, re-roofing it and in the process making it possible for two to sleep on her, albeit quite a squeeze, with a fridge and a sink for the bare essentials, and a new steering position.
The main idea was to be able to be “inside & out” so the roof slides back, making the forward 1/3 of the cabin open to the sunshine.
